Jethro Reviews: Foden

This is Foden’s life from his childhood to now, 2023. He has played for Manchester City FC since he was young. Till now, he has played with Haaland, De Bruyne, or even Sergio Agüero, and his favourite, David Silva in around 2019. As a left winger or a midfielder, he started his senior football career at City as his first club at the age of 16. In 2020, at the age of 20, he accepted to be a senior international player for England, when his boss, Southgate, told him this unexpected news. As I read the book, I really focus on his football childhood. Everything is just like it’s happening to me. It feels like I am playing with footballers from the club or England. Because it’s realistic, I can’t stop reading and thinking about it.

It is really interesting and makes me love books which are about footballers.

Therefore, when I go to the library or online reading sites or apps, I choose books like ‘Haaland’, ‘De Bruyne’ or even some retired men: ‘Maradona’' or ‘Beckham’.
