Banned Books Week
October 4th -10th
For the first week of October we have created a display for Banned Books Week. Celebrating stories that have faced some form of censorship since, or sometimes even before, their publication.
“Banned Books Week is an annual event that was founded in 1972. It’s important now, more than ever, that we read the stories that have and still continue to be silenced.
We encourage you to explore each title and their history against censorship.”
