Join us for our crime panel, where we will be joined by crime writing authors Greg Buchanan, Nadine Matheson, and Rachael Blok. During the event, we will be asking the authors about what sparked their love of crime writing, how they found the writing process, their inspiration for their books, and much more.

This event is being held in the historic courtroom in St Albans Museum + Gallery.

About the authors~

Greg Buchanan was born in 1989 and lives in the Scottish Borders. He studied English at the University of Cambridge and completed a PhD at King’s College London in identification and ethics. He is a graduate of UEA’s Creative Writing MA. His Sunday Times Bestselling Literary Thriller Novel ‘Sixteen Horses’ is soon to be turned into a television series.

Nadine Matheson has always been passionate about writing and storytelling. She was born and lives in London and works as a Criminal Solicitor.  In 2016, she won the City University Crime Writing Competition and completed the Creative Writing (Crime/Thriller Novels) MA at City University of London with Distinction in 2018. 

Rachael Blok writes a psychological crime series set in the cathedral city of St Albans. Here, DCI Maarten Jansen struggles against his plain-speaking Dutch upbringing when faced with the seemingly polite world of the picturesque city.
